Leaving Care Portal is for people who grew up in the care of the state, including state wards. It is not a government site.

What is open

  A welcome, and a way to say what you need first.

• Community

  Talk, practical notes, and names. Written on this phone.

• Practical

  A checklist for papers, a place to sleep, and money.

• The register

  A name held so a care-experienced person who went missing is not erased.

What stays on this phone

Your choice at the door, your notes, your checklist, and the register. Nothing on those pages is sent. Reset removes them from this phone only.

What this is not

• Not a government office.
• Not a fundraiser.
• Not a public board other people can read. That needs accounts, and it is not switched on.
• Not an emergency line. The button on the door calls 911.
